Playable Stylized Turret — Blender to Unreal Engine 5

https://www.artstation.com/a/56253228

A stylized sci-fi turret built in Blender and brought into Unreal Engine 5 as a playable asset.

The design combines a broad four-legged base with a rotating upper assembly, twin weapon arms, layered armor, curved cables and green emissive accents. The modeling workflow covers bevels, Boolean details, mirrors and arrays, followed by geometry cleanup, material assignments and a shared UV layout.

Ambient occlusion and edge masks connect the Blender model to the supplied stylized Unreal materials, bringing out recessed forms and exposed metal around the painted surfaces.

In Unreal, the turret becomes a player-controlled Pawn with a camera, horizontal rotation, limited weapon pitch and two muzzle-based firing traces. The supplied target range gives the final asset a place to aim, fire and test the interaction.

This is the project for Blender to Unreal Engine 5: Playable Stylized Turret, a 3D Tudor course with 31 lessons and more than 5½ hours of instruction. The course resources include the Blender file, reference renders, the mask baker, and starter and completed Unreal projects.
